INDICATIONS FOR USE: Sav-A-Hoof Protectant is a dual-action hoof conditioner that provides an antiseptic barrier against infection as it repeals external moisture and contaminates (urine-soaked manure, mud). It helps to maintain proper moisture balance in hooves in wet or dry climatic conditions.

HOW TO APPLY: The Protectant comes in a convenient, easy-to-apply liquid formula. The bottle contains a unique dauber applicator that holds enough liquid to treat the entire hoof (wall, sole, and frog) with one pass. Buffs to a battle-hardened finish after 4 minutes or so with a dry cloth.

HOW OFTEN TO USE: After cleaning the feet, apply twice weekly to the hoof wall, sole, and frog. For maintenance and prevention, use 1 or 2 times a week.

HOW IT WORKS: The Protectant contains a potent biocide, and a natural plant emulsion which is harvested from the rain forests of Brazil. They emulsions seal out excess moisture and contaminates. The coating can be hardened in minutes which allows the hooves to breathe and maintain their natural moisture balance. The biocide provide an antiseptic barrier against infection.
