Product description

How to Use an EVA Cat Litter Mat?

1. Place the EVA cat litter mat flat on the floor directly in front of your cat’s litter box. Make sure it covers the area where your cat usually steps out.

2. When your cat leaves the litter box, the mat will trap loose litter stuck to its paws and fur, preventing litter from scattering across the room.

3. For daily cleaning, simply pick up the mat and shake it outdoors or into a trash bin to remove collected litter.

4. For deeper cleaning, rinse the mat with water or wipe it with a damp cloth. Since EVA material is waterproof and quick-drying, it’s very convenient to clean frequently.

Due to folded packaging and long-distance transportation, the cat litter mat may have slight creases or wrinkles.

You can easily remove them using the following methods.

1. Lay the mat flat on a clean, hard floor and place some heavy books or flat objects on top of it. Leave it for several hours or overnight, and most creases will disappear.

2. You can also gently roll the mat in the opposite direction of the creases for a few minutes to help relax the material.

3. If the creases are deep, you can use a hairdryer on low or warm setting to heat the wrinkled area lightly while pressing it flat. Do not use high heat, as it may damage the EVA material.

4. After flattening, keep the cat litter mat laid out flat for daily use to avoid new creases.
