How did we get our start?

Our story starts in late 19th-century Massachusetts. Mary Ida Young knew there had to be a more humane, natural way to treat lameness in horses. She formulated a tincture of herbs and essential oils to increase blood flow and speed healing.

Is Mary Ida’s family still involved?

Yes! WF Young, makers of Absorbine, is a 5th generation owned and operated family business located in Massachusetts, USA.

Why do we love what we do?

At WF Young, we passionate about carrying on the heritage of innovation to help animals live their best lives possible. Your stories warm our hearts.

Driven by purpose. Guided by Science.

At WF Young, we’re not just advancing animal wellness standards, we’re reinventing them – so you can enjoy more quality time with the animals and pets you love.
